Sometimes we need a helping hand, and your emotional wellbeing needn’t be any different. Working together, I can support you to navigate thoughts, feelings and experiences in a safe, non-judgemental and creative way.

Being a therapist is so much more to me than a job – I really aim to establish meaningful connections with my clients where you feel seen and heard.

I trained as an Art Psychotherapist. Art making invites another helping hand that enables a visual way to explore and be thought about by yourself and by me. You don’t have to be good at art to engage in art therapy, but open minded to the possibility of art helping to find expression for what cannot be said in words. Art making isn’t for everyone, so if this doesn’t feel right for you, words are enough too.

I am psychodynamically trained. This therapy model thinks about your unconscious and conscious feelings, how these might relate to your early/ life experiences and how these inform the here and now. This model is useful in supporting individuals to gain a deeper understanding of themselves which supports the development of new awareness, but also a strengthened experience of compassion for oneself.

We can schedule a free 30-minute initial consultation to discuss why you are thinking about beginning your therapy journey, and aims you have in mind which you would like to work towards. In our work together, you set the pace, I take your lead, remaining open, calm and sensitive to you.

Lastly – I have been qualified for almost 5 years – 2 of those in private practice. My specialism is disordered eating, addiction, and bereavement and loss.
