Hi, I’m Katie, a psychotherapist holding a Master’s degree with distinction in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy,

My approach is rooted in empathy and respect. Counselling provides a confidential, non-judgemental environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and wellbeing. I tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual’s unique needs to provide holistic and effective support.

During my training, I had the privilege of completing placement hours at a rape and sexual abuse centre, where I provided trauma-informed psychotherapy to survivors of rape and childhood sexual abuse. This experience equipped me with specialised training in trauma and sexual abuse, allowing me to offer holistic and effective support.

Additionally, I had the opportunity to work with a specialist LGBT+ service, where I provided short-term psychotherapy to individuals grappling with issues related to sexual identity, anxiety, depression, and suicidality. This experience further honed my skills in working with diverse populations and complex mental health concerns.

Whether you’re navigating challenges or simply looking to connect with your goals, feel free to reach out to discuss how therapy could help you. Let’s start the journey toward greater wellbeing together.
