Yvonne Knowelden-Garratt

I am a qualified Person-Centred Experiential Counsellor (Dip.Couns. MBACP Reg.), and qualified Riding Instructor BHSPI.

Through my work with both humans and horses, I have witnessed the transformative power of self-awareness and the deep connection between our inner emotional states and our physical experiences.

In my counselling practice, I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their inner thoughts and emotions. Using the Person-Centred Experiential approach, I strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship based on empathy, acceptance, and congruence, using techniques to enhance the clients process and exploration, including creative work and the Emotional Freedom Technique.

I believe that every individual should have the opportunity realise their full potential. I am continuously inspired by the resilience and strength of my clients.
