I can help you to find healthy ways to express your emotions and move forward into a fulfilling life where your mental health no longer holds you back. We can work together to establish healthy coping strategies in the present whilst also exploring your history and what its impact is on you today. While we can’t alter the events that have happened in our past, we do have the power to determine our perspective on them and can make choices that prevent our past holding us back from the future want to have.

Who am I? It isn’t always easy to talk to those around you, perhaps they don’t listen, or are too involved, or have heard your story so much you don’t feel able to bring it up again? But I also understand that it can also feel daunting talking to a stranger about your struggles too. In me you will find a counsellor who is both friendly and professional. I love getting to know each of my clients and strive to make you feel safe, heard and understood, creating a space and environment for you to process your emotions and find a healthy way forward. I am not here to judge you or criticise, rather I work by coming alongside you and helping you to find clarity in your situation.

What can you expect in counselling? Counselling can help you to better understand yourself, your situation and allow you to find healthy ways of coping when life is hard. As an integrative counsellor, I have trained in Person-centred counselling, CBT and Transactional Analysis. We will go at your pace and work together to establish goals and create a way of working that suits you. Counselling is rarely a quick-fix solution; it can be a long and challenging process, but my hope is that it provides you with real support and lasting change as you move forward.

Training, qualifications & experience. As a qualified integrative counsellor, I possess a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I have experience working with adults of various ages and stages of life in both short-term and long-term therapy.

Previous clients have come with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, bereavement, stress, anger, health anxiety, ill-health, low self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).
