Background

Find My Limited T/A Find My Therapist operates a social media policy to govern the use of this medium within the Find My Limited operating divisions.  

The policy covers profile pages and other resources maintained by employees or Find My Limited’s representatives on networking sites including but not limited to: Facebook, TikTok, Twitter and LinkedIn, as well as blogs, forums, message boards, review sites and online polls. 

Find My Limited postings on social media are strategic and form part of an annual marketing plan focused at driving new and existing users to its platform.  

This policy sets out the process for use of social media platforms and governs how FindMy content will be posted. 

Policy Focus 

The policy applies to all employees, contractors or consultants who create, use and post social media in the execution of Find My Limited’s marketing programs. 

Social media involves external communication touch points across all aspects of the Find My Limited business and is critical for promoting and building the Find My Limited brand and reputation. 

Access is open and public with numerous connected accounts where communication is permanently visible and cannot be retracted.

Everything posted on social media must reflect Find My Limited’s ETHOS, its culture and Corporate Social Responsibility.    

Terms of use

Find My Limited’s social media is controlled by the Directors or their appointed representative.  

Should you be required to post on social media for the requirements for your role this will be advised by your manager, including any required boundaries where approval by the Directors is required.  

Social media usage for personal reasons does not require Find My Limited’s approval. However, when using social media, either in a personal or work capacity, during or outside working hours, posts on social media: 

Must not: –

Compromise Find My Limited.

Disclose confidential data or sensitive data.

Damage Find My Limited’s reputation or brand.

Breach copyright or data protection.

Contain libel or defamatory content. 

Engage in any form of bullying or harassment.

Be of illegal, sexual, offensive or discriminatory content 

Be used as a means of promoting for personal gain

Use the name of Find My Limited to promote products or political opinions. 

Employees should ensure they consider other relevant policies on marketing, sales and branding, where applicable and always seek written e-mail approval from their line manager before any business social media is posted.

Social media content attributable to an employee that breaches the terms of this policy, or any other Find My related policies, may result in an investigation and disciplinary action under Find My Limited’s disciplinary policy.

Business contacts

Details of business contacts obtained during the course of an employee’s employment is considered confidential information and remains the property of Find My Limited and includes any records in or on an employee’s computer as well as those maintained by third party websites.

Policy enforcement

Using social media in a way which breaches this or any other Find My Policy may lead to disciplinary action or other sanctions if a Find My external contractor is involved. 

Find My Limited’s Disciplinary Policy may be invoked if the incident is viewed as serious wilful or an act of gross misconduct which ultimately may lead to termination of either the employee’s employment or the outsourced commercial engagement. An extreme incident may result in Find My pursing legal recourse.
