Hi, I’m Anna, a qualified Person-Centred therapist (MBACP) offering remote, one-to-one therapy for adults. I provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can show up exactly as you are. At the heart of my practice is a deep belief in the healing potential of genuine human connection. Guided by authenticity, autonomy and compassion, I aim to offer a space where you feel truly heard, respected, and affirmed. I welcome and celebrate difference, supporting people of all identities and life journeys.

My approach is grounded in an experiential person-centred philosophy, meaning I work with empathy and presence, centring how experiences are felt in the moment. I hold space with a deep respect for your autonomy, helping you reconnect with your inner sense of knowing. I also draw from existential perspectives, particularly when exploring life transitions, uncertainty, and meaning. When helpful, I integrate creative and expressive elements into the process, supporting exploration beyond words.

My experience includes offering bereavement support within a structured counselling service, helping individuals navigate grief and the many emotions that arise alongside loss. I also have experience providing mental-health and crisis support in a volunteer capacity, responding to people in moments of emotional overwhelm with grounding, empathy, and safety. I am trauma-informed trained and have completed additional training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) where we can explore from a future-focused perspective. My continuing professional development includes neuroplasticity and creativity, somatic and inner-child work, and explorations of identity and expression.

As an autistic therapist and member of the LGBTQ+ community, I bring lived experience that informs a deeply inclusive, neuro-affirming and identity-respectful approach. Together, we can explore;

  • Anxiety, Depression and Stress,
  • Low self-esteem, confidence and worth,
  • Loss, bereavement and grief,
  • Impact of suicide and suicidal thoughts,
  • Domestic abuse and violence,
  • Trauma, childhood neglect and CSA.
  • Health-related challenges and chronic illness.
  • Relationships, family, and interpersonal challenges.
  • LGBTQ+ identities and experiences.
  • Identity exploration and life transitions.
  • Neurodivergent experiences, and more.

I also welcome clients who may not have a specific challenge, but who are seeking space for reflection, healing or self-discovery. My practice is open and affirming to clients from all walks of life.
