My practice is integrative CBT incorporating, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness Based CBT and Compassion-Focused Therapy with Person-centred as the foundation. I deliver a flexible and tailored approach to suit individual needs; you are the expert in your own life and for this reason, I treat the person in front of me, as opposed to the symptoms/issues/difficulties presented to me. It is important for you to feel seen, heard and understood.

The therapeutic relationship is a space for personal growth, where warmth, genuineness, patience, and acceptance are prized above all. It is my privilege to work alongside my clients in setting achievable goals, building a toolkit of coping techniques & strategies for you to use in the future, and empowering people to live the richer fuller lives they deserve. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help clients manage whatever is overwhelming, by changing how they think and behave. I strongly believe; that if you change your thinking, you will change your life. Working alongside each client, exploring thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a confidential, non-judgmental, and supportive way.

I work with clients presenting with a wide variety of mental health concerns such as grief & loss, phone/social media addiction, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, body dysmorphia, and unhealthy relationships with food. I have extensive experience in supporting clients through life changes, for example, perimenopause & menopause, divorce, and separation. I am trained in couple counselling using somatic family therapy.

If you are struggling it can be a relief to talk to someone who is trained to listen and understand, where you are heard and accepted. Perhaps you are critical of yourself, I can help guide you to personal growth using self-compassion, to enable you to quiet your inner critic and be as kind to yourself as you would be to others.

I am an online & telephone-certified counsellor and a registered British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) member. I follow a set of ethical principles and guidelines that underpin my practice. I maintain and enhance the quality of my work through regular supervision and continued professional development.
